He has served as lead or co-counsel in litigation cases with recoveries in excess of $50 million dollars. He also served as general counsel for Galvanic Energy, a lithium production company that recently sold for $150 million dollars. He is a member of the Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, Arkansas and Colorado bar associations.
Matthew and his wife, Allison, have five children – three biological, one adopted from Russia and the youngest adopted from Ethiopia. When not working at one of the firm’s offices, they live in their hometown, Enid, Oklahoma, because as Davis says, “I love my three-minute commute.” He is also an accomplished guitarist currently leading the heavy metal band, Geriatric Steel, performing original hard rock songs for middle age and beyond with titles like “Get Off My Lawn” and “Teenaged Daughter.”!
