When I was new in real estate as a Realtor, I had a deal that went sideways and became extremely stressful. Not only could it fall apart at any moment, but the lender was threatening the buyers and me personally. I had made a rookie mistake and was dealing with the consequences. One of the best pieces of advice I got from a mentor was, don’t ride the emotional Rollercoaster 🎢. Watch it from afar. Stay emotionally detached from the situation. It was a great visual and mental tool that has served me well over the years.
